Terms of Service

The agreement between you and CURRENTLY about using the product.

Effective date:
12 September 2026
Version:
1.0

1. Who we are

CURRENTLY is operated by Currently Ltd, company number 17382293 (“CURRENTLY”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Our registered office and business address is:

44A Brandon Street
Top Floor Flat
London
SE17 1NL
United Kingdom

You can contact us at [email protected].

For safety, moderation, copyright and other rights-related reports, contact [email protected].

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CURRENTLY’s websites, applications and related products, features and services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or otherwise agreeing to these Terms, you enter into a contract with Currently Ltd.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years old or over to create or use a CURRENTLY account.

CURRENTLY is intended for adults. If we reasonably believe that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or close that account and take appropriate steps in relation to its data.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement with us.

You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or terminated your account and have told you that you may not create another account, unless we expressly give you permission to do so.

3. Your account

You must provide information that is accurate and reasonably up to date.

You must not:

  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • falsely suggest that you are affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for another person or organisation;
  • create an account using information you are not authorised to use;
  • sell, transfer or commercially trade your account; or
  • create or use another account to evade a restriction, suspension or ban.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity you knowingly authorise through your account.

If you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly at [email protected].

We may require information reasonably necessary to confirm account ownership, identity or eligibility before restoring access or carrying out a sensitive account request.

We may change or release a username where reasonably necessary to address impersonation, infringement, legal requirements, security issues or technical conflicts. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify the affected user.

4. What CURRENTLY does

CURRENTLY is a social discovery and taste-sharing service designed to help people share what they are currently into, discover recommendations from other people and keep track of things they want to return to.

Features may include:

  • profiles;
  • picks and recommendations;
  • comments and likes;
  • following and followers;
  • private saved items;
  • discovery and recommendation features;
  • search;
  • third-party account connections;
  • external links and embedded media;
  • user-uploaded photographs and other media;
  • AI-assisted importing and identification;
  • Ask CURRENTLY; and
  • other features we introduce from time to time.

Features may vary by device, account, location or version of the Service.

The fact that we discuss, test or announce a possible feature does not guarantee that it will be made generally available.

5. Public and private activity

CURRENTLY is a social service.

Unless we expressly indicate otherwise:

  • your profile is public;
  • your published picks are public;
  • your comments are public;
  • your likes are visible to other users;
  • your followers and following lists are visible to other users; and
  • your Saved items are private.

Private Saved items are not displayed to other users merely because you have saved them. We may still process information about your Saved items where reasonably necessary to provide the Service, personalise features, maintain your account, improve relevant functionality or otherwise as described in our Privacy Notice.

Public information may be accessible to people who are not signed into CURRENTLY and may be accessible through shared links, previews or search engines.

Do not publish information that you intend to keep confidential.

Other people may take screenshots, copy links or otherwise record material that you publish publicly. Once someone has copied information outside CURRENTLY, we may not be able to control that copy.

Deleting content from CURRENTLY does not require another person to delete a lawful independent copy they created outside the Service, although applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

6. Your content

“Your Content” means photographs, comments, captions, text and other material that you upload, publish or otherwise provide to the Service.

You keep ownership

As between you and CURRENTLY, you retain any intellectual property rights you hold in Your Content.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Your Content to us.

You must have the right to provide it

You must have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and use Your Content through CURRENTLY.

You must not upload material where doing so infringes another person’s copyright, privacy, confidentiality, trademark, publicity or other legal rights.

Where Your Content includes identifiable people, you are responsible for having whatever permission or lawful basis is required to upload and publish that material.

This responsibility relates to material that you provide. It does not make you responsible for separately sourced artwork, metadata or other material that CURRENTLY itself obtains from third-party services.

The licence you give CURRENTLY

You grant Currently Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, reproduce, format, adapt for technical purposes, display, communicate, distribute, index and process Your Content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, develop and support the Service.

For example, this permits us to:

  • store your photographs;
  • resize or compress images;
  • create thumbnails and previews;
  • display published content on CURRENTLY;
  • display content through feeds, profiles, search and discovery;
  • generate CURRENTLY sharing experiences and share cards;
  • make content available to the audiences you have chosen;
  • process content through features you choose to use;
  • investigate bugs, abuse, security incidents or legal complaints; and
  • use service providers acting on our behalf to perform those functions.

This licence does not give us a general right to sell your original photographs or writing as standalone products or to use your original content in unrelated advertising.

Any materially different use would require an appropriate additional legal basis or agreement.

When the licence ends

The licence relating to particular content generally ends when that content is deleted from the Service, except where continued processing is reasonably necessary:

  • to complete the deletion process;
  • because copies remain temporarily in technical backups;
  • to maintain security and integrity;
  • to investigate misuse;
  • to comply with law;
  • to exercise or defend legal rights; or
  • where another lawful basis permits or requires retention.

Backup copies may remain until the relevant backups are overwritten or deleted in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

We do not use the existence of a backup copy as permission to continue publicly displaying content you have deleted.

Deleting your original content does not necessarily remove another user’s independent pick or reference to the same film, book, restaurant, album, product, place or other underlying item.

7. CURRENTLY content and intellectual property

The Service itself, including its software, design, layouts, branding, logos, graphics and other material created by or for CURRENTLY, belongs to Currently Ltd or its licensors.

Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purposes.

This does not give you ownership of the Service or permission to commercially exploit our intellectual property.

“CURRENTLY”, our branding and associated marks may not be used in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation without our permission.

Third-party names, artwork, images, videos, music, trademarks, metadata and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

The presence of material on CURRENTLY does not give you permission to reproduce or commercially exploit that material outside the rights provided by law or the relevant rights holder.

8. Acceptable use

You must use CURRENTLY lawfully and responsibly.

You must not use the Service to create, upload, publish, transmit, encourage, facilitate or distribute content or activity that falls into any of the categories below.

Illegal activity

You must not use CURRENTLY to commit, encourage or facilitate criminal or otherwise unlawful activity.

This includes, without limitation:

  • terrorism or support for terrorist activity;
  • child sexual exploitation or abuse;
  • grooming;
  • human trafficking;
  • fraud or scams;
  • stalking;
  • credible threats;
  • unlawful harassment;
  • unlawful discrimination;
  • unlawful sale or supply of regulated or prohibited goods;
  • offences involving non-consensual intimate images;
  • encouraging or assisting serious self-harm where unlawful; or
  • other illegal conduct.

Sexual exploitation and intimate content

You must not publish:

  • child sexual abuse material;
  • sexual content involving or appearing to involve anyone under 18;
  • non-consensual intimate images;
  • sexual deepfakes or purported intimate imagery created without the depicted person’s consent;
  • content obtained through sexual voyeurism;
  • sexually exploitative content; or
  • pornography or other explicit sexual material inconsistent with the nature of the Service.

Abuse and safety

You must not use CURRENTLY to:

  • threaten violence;
  • target another person with sustained harassment;
  • encourage violence against a person or protected group;
  • publish another person’s private home address, contact information or similarly sensitive personal information without lawful justification;
  • encourage another person to harm themselves; or
  • deliberately use the Service to put another person in serious danger.

Deception and manipulation

You must not:

  • impersonate another person;
  • misrepresent your relationship with a person, brand or organisation;
  • run scams;
  • knowingly fabricate commercial endorsements;
  • manipulate engagement through fake accounts or coordinated inauthentic behaviour;
  • send spam; or
  • deliberately submit false abuse reports.

If you receive money, products, services or another material benefit in connection with a recommendation, you must make any disclosure required by applicable law.

Intellectual property and privacy

You must not knowingly use CURRENTLY to infringe:

  • copyright;
  • trademarks;
  • database rights;
  • privacy rights;
  • confidentiality obligations;
  • publicity or personality rights; or
  • other legally protected rights.

Technical misuse

You must not:

  • introduce malware or malicious code;
  • attempt to compromise another account;
  • interfere with the normal operation of the Service;
  • circumvent security or access controls;
  • probe or test vulnerabilities without authorisation;
  • overwhelm the Service;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use bots or automated systems to create accounts or manipulate the Service without permission;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or personal information except where permitted by law or expressly authorised by us; or
  • use information obtained through CURRENTLY to build an unauthorised competing database or profiling service.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict conduct that applicable law gives you an unwaivable right to undertake.

9. Moderation and enforcement

CURRENTLY may investigate suspected violations of these Terms.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • take no action;
  • contact you for information;
  • issue a warning;
  • limit distribution of content;
  • remove content;
  • restrict particular functionality;
  • temporarily suspend an account; or
  • permanently terminate an account.

We consider factors such as:

  • the nature of the content or conduct;
  • its context;
  • the seriousness and likelihood of harm;
  • whether conduct appears deliberate;
  • relevant account history;
  • repeated violations;
  • the rights of affected people;
  • legal obligations; and
  • the need to protect the security and integrity of the Service.

We aim to act proportionately.

We may act immediately without prior warning where reasonably necessary to address illegal content, serious safety risks, security incidents, fraud, child sexual exploitation, terrorism, non-consensual intimate imagery or another urgent legal or safety issue.

At the effective date of these Terms, CURRENTLY does not use automated content-moderation systems to decide whether user content breaches these Terms.

Reports and moderation decisions may be reviewed manually.

We may introduce proportionate automated safety or moderation technology in the future. If this materially changes how enforcement decisions affecting users are made, we will update the relevant information we provide about those systems.

10. Reporting content or behaviour

You do not need to be a CURRENTLY account holder to raise a serious content or rights concern.

You can report content, accounts or behaviour using any reporting functionality we make available or by emailing:

[email protected]

Your report should, where possible:

  • identify the content or account;
  • include a link or other information that lets us locate it;
  • explain the nature of the concern; and
  • provide any relevant supporting information.

Do not email us illegal images merely to demonstrate that they exist where a link, identifier or description is sufficient.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to assess a report.

We will prioritise reports involving serious or imminent harm.

Where we become aware of illegal content, we will take action as required by applicable law, including removing illegal material where required.

Where legally required, we may report illegal activity or material to the National Crime Agency, police, another competent authority or an appropriate reporting body.

11. Non-consensual intimate images

Non-consensual intimate images are prohibited on CURRENTLY.

If intimate imagery depicts you, or you are authorised to act on behalf of the person depicted, you can make an expedited report to:

[email protected]

Please:

  1. state that you are making an intimate image report;
  2. identify the content sufficiently for us to locate it;
  3. confirm that you are the person depicted or are acting on that person’s behalf;
  4. confirm that, to the best of your knowledge and belief, the report is made in good faith and is true; and
  5. provide contact details so that we can communicate with you about the report.

You do not need to attach or redistribute the intimate image itself where we can locate it from the information you provide.

Where the report meets the applicable legal requirements, we will operate proportionate processes designed to remove the reported intimate-image content, together with content we identify as the same or substantially the same, as soon as reasonably practicable and no later than 48 hours after receiving the report, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.

Complaints concerning the handling of these reports will receive expedited consideration.

12. Complaints and appeals

You may complain to us if you believe:

  • illegal or prohibited content remains on CURRENTLY;
  • we have not properly handled a report;
  • your content was wrongly removed or restricted;
  • your account was wrongly restricted, suspended or terminated;
  • we have failed to apply these Terms consistently;
  • we have not complied with an applicable online-safety obligation; or
  • another moderation or safety decision materially affecting you was incorrect.

Send complaints to:

[email protected]

Please include enough information for us to identify the decision or content concerned.

We will consider the complaint and relevant information and take appropriate action where we determine that a decision was incorrect.

Where appropriate, that may include restoring content, restoring account functionality or reversing another enforcement measure.

Where we take moderation action against you, we will normally explain the basis for the decision and how to seek review, unless providing that information would be unlawful or would materially compromise safety, security, fraud prevention or an investigation.

If we remove or restrict your content, suspend you or ban you in breach of these Terms, you may have the right to bring a claim against us for breach of contract.

Our complaints process does not restrict any right you have to contact a regulator, law-enforcement authority or court.

13. Copyright and other rights complaints

If you believe material on CURRENTLY infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy or another legal right, contact:

[email protected]

Please provide:

  • your name and contact details;
  • identification of the relevant material;
  • enough information for us to locate it;
  • an explanation of the right you believe is affected;
  • why you believe the use is unlawful; and
  • if you are acting for somebody else, information showing your authority to do so.

We may request further information reasonably required to assess the complaint.

We may remove or restrict material while investigating where appropriate.

Serious or repeated infringement may result in account restrictions or termination.

A rights complaint does not automatically establish infringement. We will consider relevant circumstances, including applicable exceptions and defences.

14. Recommendations and discovery

CURRENTLY contains recommendation, search, feed and discovery features.

The order or selection of content you see may be influenced by factors such as:

  • accounts and people you follow;
  • activity on the Service;
  • your interaction with content;
  • characteristics of picks or other content;
  • relevance to a search;
  • category;
  • recency;
  • location or city information where relevant;
  • editorial selections;
  • signals from your social network; and
  • other factors designed to make the Service useful.

Different parts of the Service may use different ranking methods.

Recommendation systems may change over time as the Service develops.

CURRENTLY does not currently accept sponsored recommendations or paid placements, and businesses cannot currently pay CURRENTLY to increase the ranking of an ordinary recommendation.

If we introduce sponsored or paid placements in future, we will identify them appropriately.

A recommendation appearing prominently does not mean that CURRENTLY guarantees or endorses the quality, safety or suitability of the underlying product, work, venue or service.

15. AI features

CURRENTLY offers features that use artificial intelligence, including Ask CURRENTLY and AI-assisted importing.

These features may use technology supplied by third-party AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic.

Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information may be processed when you use these features.

AI-assisted importing

Depending on the available feature, you may be able to provide material such as:

  • text;
  • a URL;
  • a screenshot; or
  • a photograph

so that CURRENTLY can attempt to identify a film, programme, book, album, track, podcast, restaurant, place, product or other item and obtain relevant information about it.

You must have the right to provide material you submit for processing.

Do not intentionally submit confidential, highly sensitive or third-party personal information that is unnecessary for the feature.

AI results may be wrong

Artificial intelligence can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading results.

It may:

  • identify the wrong item;
  • confuse people or places;
  • infer incorrect metadata;
  • generate inaccurate descriptions;
  • omit relevant information; or
  • state something incorrect with apparent confidence.

You should review important information before relying on or publishing it.

Ask CURRENTLY

Ask CURRENTLY may generate responses by analysing relevant information available to the feature and using automated systems to produce an answer.

AI-generated responses are generated outputs. They are not necessarily statements made, approved or endorsed by the person whose profile, pick or activity may have contributed to the result.

No professional advice

CURRENTLY and its AI features are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety or other regulated advice.

You should independently verify information where an error could materially affect your health, safety, finances, legal rights, travel or another important decision.

For matters such as allergens, accessibility, opening hours, prices, availability, travel requirements and booking conditions, check with the relevant provider.

AI outputs are not necessarily unique

AI systems may produce the same or similar outputs for different users.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party rights, you may use outputs provided to you through the Service. We do not guarantee that an AI output is unique, capable of ownership or free from third-party rights.

16. Third-party services

CURRENTLY may connect with, display information from or link to third-party services.

Current examples include:

  • Spotify;
  • Letterboxd;
  • Goodreads;
  • Google Maps and Google Places;
  • YouTube; and
  • SoundCloud.

Those services are operated independently from Currently Ltd.

Their own terms, privacy notices, availability rules and technical restrictions may apply.

When you connect a third-party account, you authorise CURRENTLY to access information within the permissions presented to you and permitted by the relevant service.

Connecting an account does not automatically authorise us to publish every piece of information associated with that account.

You may revoke a connection using any available account controls or through the relevant third-party service.

Third-party services can alter or discontinue their APIs, content, integrations or functionality without our control. This can affect features within CURRENTLY.

We do not guarantee the continued availability of any particular third-party integration.

17. External links, bookings and purchases

CURRENTLY may link to websites and services operated by other businesses.

For example, a pick may link you to a:

  • streaming service;
  • retailer;
  • ticket provider;
  • restaurant;
  • hotel;
  • map;
  • music service;
  • booking service; or
  • other external destination.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, CURRENTLY is not the seller, booking provider, streaming provider or supplier of the underlying product or service.

A transaction you make with a third party is between you and that third party and is subject to its terms.

We do not control:

  • third-party pricing;
  • stock;
  • catalogue availability;
  • opening hours;
  • service quality;
  • booking availability;
  • delivery;
  • refunds;
  • geographic availability; or
  • the accuracy of all third-party information.

We are responsible for our own statements and conduct, but not for a third party’s independent performance merely because CURRENTLY links to it.

CURRENTLY does not currently operate affiliate or commission arrangements.

If we introduce an affiliate, commission or other commercial relationship relevant to a link or recommendation in future, we will disclose it appropriately.

18. Availability and accuracy of information

We use reasonable care in providing the Service.

However, information on CURRENTLY may come from users, third parties, automated systems or external data sources.

We do not guarantee that every piece of information will always be complete, current or error-free.

In particular, information such as:

  • prices;
  • dates;
  • opening hours;
  • availability;
  • streaming availability;
  • venue details;
  • credits;
  • artwork;
  • product details; and
  • external links

may change.

Where information matters to an important decision, check it with the original provider.

Nothing in this section limits obligations we cannot lawfully exclude.

19. Free service and future paid features

CURRENTLY is currently provided to users free of charge.

We do not currently offer paid subscriptions.

We will not charge you merely because you have created a free account.

If we introduce a paid feature, product or subscription in future, we will tell you the applicable:

  • price;
  • billing frequency;
  • taxes where relevant;
  • renewal arrangements;
  • cancellation process; and
  • additional terms

before you agree to purchase it.

We will obtain the agreement required by law before charging you.

20. Account and content deletion

You can delete your account using the account-deletion functionality provided within the Service.

You may also request deletion by contacting:

[email protected]

You can delete user content using the functionality made available within CURRENTLY.

When you delete an account or content, we will take steps to remove or de-identify relevant information in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable law.

Some information may remain temporarily in technical backups until those backups are overwritten or deleted.

We may also retain limited information where reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law;
  • prevent fraud or abuse;
  • enforce account restrictions;
  • protect the security of the Service;
  • resolve disputes; or
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Our Privacy Notice provides further information about data retention and your data-protection rights.

21. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice is available at:

https://app.mycurrently.com/privacy

It explains how Currently Ltd collects, uses, shares, stores and otherwise processes personal information.

It also explains your data-protection rights and how to exercise them.

These Terms and the Privacy Notice serve different purposes.

Agreeing to these Terms does not constitute blanket consent to every form of personal-data processing.

Where applicable law requires us to obtain separate consent for a particular use of information, we will request that consent separately.

22. Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect the Service and its users.

No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You must not attempt to discover, exploit or publicise a vulnerability in a way that puts users, data or the Service at unnecessary risk.

If you discover a security issue, please contact [email protected] so that we can investigate it.

We may temporarily restrict functionality where reasonably necessary to address an actual or suspected security incident.

23. Changes to the Service

CURRENTLY is an evolving product.

We may add, remove, replace or modify features where reasonably necessary or appropriate, including to:

  • improve the Service;
  • introduce new functionality;
  • address technical problems;
  • respond to user feedback;
  • maintain security;
  • comply with law;
  • respond to third-party service changes;
  • manage operational or commercial requirements; or
  • discontinue features that are no longer reasonably sustainable.

We may also discontinue the Service.

Where a change or closure materially affects users and advance notice is reasonably practicable, we will provide reasonable notice.

We may need to make urgent changes without advance notice for legal, security, safety or technical reasons.

Nothing in this section removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

24. Suspension and termination

You may stop using CURRENTLY whenever you choose.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate your account where reasonably necessary because:

  • you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms;
  • your use creates a material safety or security risk;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful conduct;
  • you attempt to evade a previous enforcement action;
  • we are legally required to take action; or
  • providing the account or Service to you is no longer lawful.

Where proportionate and reasonably practicable, we will give you an opportunity to correct a problem before terminating your account.

We may act immediately in cases involving serious illegal conduct, child safety, terrorism, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats, security compromise, serious fraud or another urgent risk.

You may use the complaints process in section 12 to challenge an enforcement decision.

Termination does not affect rights or liabilities that arose before termination.

Provisions which by their nature need to continue after termination remain effective, including relevant provisions concerning intellectual property, licences already required for lawful retention, liability and disputes.

25. Feedback

We welcome suggestions about CURRENTLY.

If you voluntarily give us feedback, ideas or suggestions about the Service, you permit us to use them to develop, improve or operate CURRENTLY without an obligation to compensate you.

This does not transfer ownership of unrelated material that you include with the feedback and does not override applicable confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.

26. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer where it is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of the breach or if both you and we could reasonably have anticipated it when this agreement was made.

We are not responsible for loss or damage:

  • that was not reasonably foreseeable;
  • that was not caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill;
  • arising solely from your breach of these Terms;
  • caused by a third party whose independent acts we do not control; or
  • resulting from events outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

CURRENTLY is provided for personal and consumer use.

If you use the Service for a business or commercial purpose contrary to these Terms, we are not responsible under these consumer Terms for business losses such as lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights.

27. No guarantee about particular recommendations

Taste is subjective.

CURRENTLY does not guarantee that you will:

  • like a recommendation;
  • agree with another user;
  • find a recommendation appropriate;
  • be able to access an item in your location;
  • receive a particular social response; or
  • obtain a particular outcome from following a recommendation.

A pick represents taste, opinion, editorial judgement or an automated recommendation—not a warranty about the underlying item.

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including to reflect:

  • changes to the Service;
  • new features;
  • changes in law or regulation;
  • safety or security requirements;
  • changes to third-party services;
  • changes to our business model; or
  • clarification of existing provisions.

We will publish the updated Terms and update the effective date.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable, for example by email or a prominent message within CURRENTLY.

Urgent legal or security changes may take effect more quickly.

Where applicable law requires your express agreement to a change, we will request it.

If you do not agree to materially updated Terms, you may stop using CURRENTLY and delete your account before the updated Terms take effect.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.

29. Communications from us

We may provide notices relating to your account, these Terms, safety, security or the operation of the Service:

  • within CURRENTLY;
  • by email to the address associated with your account; or
  • through another reasonable communication method connected to the Service.

You are responsible for keeping your account contact information reasonably current.

Marketing communications, where used, are handled separately in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Notice.

30. International use

Currently Ltd is based in the United Kingdom and CURRENTLY is initially operated from the UK.

The Service may also be accessible to people in other countries, including countries such as Australia, the United States and Canada.

You are responsible for complying with laws that lawfully apply to your own use of the Service.

These Terms are not intended to deprive consumers outside the UK of mandatory rights provided by applicable local consumer law.

We may restrict the Service or particular features in a territory where reasonably necessary for legal, licensing, technical or operational reasons.

31. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and your relationship with Currently Ltd are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your country or place of residence.

The courts of England and Wales may hear disputes relating to these Terms.

If applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live, nothing in these Terms removes that right.

Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at:

[email protected]

so that we have an opportunity to try to resolve the issue.

You are not required by these Terms to submit disputes to compulsory private arbitration.

32. Transfer of these Terms

You may not transfer your account or your rights under these Terms to another person without our permission.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a restructuring, financing, merger, acquisition, sale of the business or transfer of the Service to another operator.

We will only do so in a manner consistent with applicable law.

If a transfer materially changes who is responsible for your account, we will provide appropriate notice.

33. If part of these Terms is invalid

If a court or other competent authority decides that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining Terms will continue to apply where they can fairly and lawfully do so.

34. Delay in enforcement

If either you or we delay enforcing a right under these Terms, that does not necessarily mean the right has been waived.

A waiver relating to one breach does not automatically waive a later breach.

35. Third-party rights

Except where these Terms expressly say otherwise, a person who is not you or Currently Ltd does not have a right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

This does not affect any right or remedy that a third party has independently of that Act.

36. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any additional terms expressly presented for a particular feature or transaction, form the agreement governing your use of CURRENTLY.

Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraudulent statements or removes consumer rights relating to statements that applicable law makes binding on us.
